Leadership
Ayo Osofisan
President
Year in School: Senior
Major: Biosystems Engineering and Marine Biology
Why is he a part of the Student Greenhouse Project: The Student Greenhouse Project is the perfect joining of my two passions in life: Environmental sustainability and architectural innovation. SGP has given me a creative leadership opportunity to pursue these interests, as well as a strong group of peers and friends who share the same passions.

Kaleigh Rios
Vice President, Secretary
Year in School: Junior

Major: Human Biology
Why is she a part of the Student Greenhouse Project: I have always felt a connection with nature and want nothing more than for future generations to have the opportunity to appreciate it as well. Because Earth needs it, I believe we should be advocating for and working towards radical change. I have met so many amazing people in this club who share a similar vision and that I learn more from every day. It excites me that we are working together on a large project that is going to bring a more sustainable future for MSU, and one that will hopefully inspire other communities to collaborate with each other and do the same!
Justin Thomas
Inter-team Liaison
Year in School: Senior
Major: Engineering and Business
Why is he a part of the Student Greenhouse Project: I joined the Student Greenhouse Project because I think that the environment and people both need to be cared for, and there's no better place for that than a self-sustaining tropical oasis that provides a space for people to escape seasonal depression. Also, I am extremely proud to be a Spartan. Being able to work on something is beneficial for my fellow Spartans and that will be a permanent part of Michigan State makes me very happy - I feel like its the least I can do for the college that makes me love every single day I am here.

Why is he a part of the Student Greenhouse Project: Legacy. I want to play an important role in inspiring and ushering in a new era of energy, technology, and infrastructure that will allow us to co-exist and thrive with our planet that we've neglected for too long. The Biodome and SGP, to me, are a very important first step in this process.

I am very passionate about combating climate change and improving mental health and the Student Greenhouse Project works toward both of those goals.
